Our certified technicians inspect your exhaust system, emissions control equipment, and fuel tank cap. We also run an OBD-II diagnostic scan to identify any active emissions-related fault codes that could cause a failure.
Most emissions tests are completed in 30 minutes or less. If your vehicle passes, you'll receive your certificate right away. Walk-ins are welcome — no appointment needed.
No. Texas emissions testing only applies to gasoline-powered vehicles between 2 and 24 years old. Vehicles older than 24 years are exempt, as are diesel vehicles, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and mopeds.
If your vehicle doesn't pass, our technicians will diagnose the issue and walk you through your repair options clearly and honestly. Once repairs are complete, we can retest to confirm your vehicle meets Texas emissions standards.
